Members of the Spotsylvania NAACP and #ENOUGH marked the anniversary of Dr. King’s “I Have A Dream” speech with a demonstration to support of voting rights. A group of approximately 50 marched down Fall Hill Avenue across the newly named Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial Bridge for a prayer from Reverend Hashmel Turner then returned to a field just outside the Bragg Hill Family Life Center. Chants for “pass the vote” could be heard expressing support for the “For the People” Act.
