The Spotsylvania Sheriff’s Office has announced the deaths and arrests of those involved in yesterday’s mass shooting.

According to a Facebook update, Chase Feaster, 18, of Spotsylvania County, Alonzo Goffney, 18, of Spotsylvania County and an unnamed 20 year-old were among the dead in Tuesday’s shooting on the 400 block of Old Greenwich Drive.

The department says that their initial investigation reveals that this was an illegal gun sale that turned into a robbery.

Four individuals were charged with malicious wounding and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony unlawful assembly.

Two of those suspects are 16 years old. The third is 17 years of age, and the fourth is 18 year-old Jeremiah Upson (photographed below). One of the 16 year-old suspects is currently being treated at a local hospital for a gunshot wound, and will be incarcerated upon being discharged.

Three of the suspects are held without any bond. Two of the suspects are residents of Spotsylvania County and two are from Caroline County.

The Spotsylvania Sheriff’s Office commends both the Fredericksburg Police Department and the Virginia State Police for their assistance during the investigation, calling the last few days “stressful and heartbreaking.”
