The Fredericksburg Police Department is searching for two juvenile suspects following a motor vehicle crash involving a tractor trailer on Thursday morning.
Shortly before 7:00 AM, a call was received for motor vehicle crash in the area of the 2100 block of Plank Road impeding the lanes for the I-95 northbound onramp.
After arriving on the scene, first responders reported that two suspects, a juvenile male and female, fled the scene shortly after the incident towards the U-Haul rental business nearby. One individual was transported to a local hospital for treatment, followed by a second individual a brief time later.
The incident is currently under investigation.
Update (01/01/26 at 9:43 AM): According to radio traffic, an 18-year old female “from the earlier motor vehicle accident” was treated for facial injuries at the Fredericksburg Police Department. That individual was reported to be with their parents.
