A call for a reported stabbing interrupted Sunday morning at the Townsend Square apartment community.
At approximately 8:30 AM, a Fredericksburg CRIME ALERT stated that there was a large law enforcement presence in the area of the 1100 block of Townsend Boulevard for a reported stabbing. The alert stated that the suspect is currently in custody and there is no danger to the public.
In an email to hyperbole, Fredericksburg Police Department Public Information Officer Jessica Carter stated that a single victim is currently receiving medical treatment for “serious” injuries.
The scene is currently under investigation.
