If you like Beer Donuts, you’re gonna love Donut Beer.
Paul’s Bakery and 6 Bears & A Goat Brewing Company are debuting their brand new Pastry Stout beer tomorrow. Its key ingredient: chocolate custard donuts.
“The custard is the key,” according to Paul’s Bakery owner Neil Glancy.
The new offering will be available at the 6 Bears & A Goat Brewery and local Total Wine locations (local bars can find the beer through Virginia Eagle). It will be sold as single cans as well as a four-pack, which is the maximum allowed purchase. Glancy says if the beer sells well, customers can anticipate more offerings in the near future.
The family-owned bakery, which has served the Fredericksburg area for more than 50 years, is also offering a free donut to any child dressed up for Halloween tomorrow.
