The Organization Is Accepting Donations Through September 26th
Local barber Antoine Carey is collecting clothing for local youth heading back-to-school.

Cleaning out your closet? One local nonprofit is collecting “Clothing For A Cause.”

The FADED Foundation has launched an effort to extra or unwanted clothing in all sizes, as well as shoes, hats, purses, towels, sheets and pillows. The nonprofit is partnering with a local thrift store to raise funds that will benefit the group’s barber academy.

The non-profit organization, founded by local barber Antoine Carey (pictured below), addresses generational incarceration and poverty by funding scholarships, covering tuition and helping mentor aspiring entrepreneurs.

Anyone interested in donating items can be dropped off at the following location:

Faded & Co. Barber Academy
2215 Emancipation Highway, Suite 102
Fredericksburg, Virginia 22401

The organization is accepting donations through September 26th.
