A body was discovered Thursday morning on Fredericksburg’s Quarry Trail.
At approximately 11:00 AM, a call for a possible DOA was received in the area of 1200 Wicklow Drive, adjacent to the Sunshine Baseball League stadium behind the Bragg Hill neighborhood. That report was made by a resident who made the discovery while on their morning bike ride.
That resident tells hyperbole they were riding the trail when they observed the arm of an individual from behind a tree. They approached and attempted to communicate before realizing that individual’s condition, and at that time called emergency services.
The scene is currently under investigation by the Fredericksburg Police Department.
